What’s included

What we check at your annual visit

Every annual maintenance visit includes a system examination, basic inspection, filter evaluation, issue detection and electrical safety inspection. Here’s what that typically looks like at your home.

Indoor heads

  • Evaluate and clean or replace washable filters
  • Inspect the evaporator coil and blower wheel for dirt, dust and mold buildup
  • Check the condensate drain, pan and line for clogs or leaks
  • Check louvers, mounting and wall penetration

Outdoor unit

  • Inspect the outdoor coil and clear leaves and debris
  • Check the fan, mounting pad or bracket, and clearance around the unit
  • Inspect line set insulation, covers and connections
  • Look for rodent damage and signs of refrigerant leaks

Electrical safety

  • Inspect wiring and connections for looseness, heat or corrosion
  • Check the disconnect and incoming voltage
  • Check your voltage monitor, if installed

Performance & report

  • Run the system and check heating and cooling operation
  • Check for error codes and remote/thermostat function
  • Walk you through what we found, with recommendations before any extra work
Deep cleaning

When a quick clean isn’t enough

Over time, indoor heads collect dust, pet hair and biological growth deep in the coil and blower wheel, where a filter rinse can’t reach. That buildup restricts airflow and can cause musty smells.

A deep cleaning goes further than the annual inspection: we protect the area around the indoor head, then clean the coil, blower wheel, drain pan and housing. If your units need it, a deep cleaning is part of getting certified for the Protection Club.

  • Tiers 1 & 2: $129 for the first indoor head, $99 for each additional head
  • Tier 3: one annual deep cleaning per outdoor unit, covering up to 2 indoor heads ($99 each additional head)

Signs your system needs attention

  • Musty or sour smell when the unit starts
  • Weak airflow or rooms that won’t reach temperature
  • Water dripping from an indoor head
  • Blinking lights or error codes
  • Higher power bills than usual for the season
  • Unusual noises from the indoor or outdoor unit
